Is there any way to cheat aside from using a map exploit? Basically, is there really any such things as aimbots or accuracy enhancers or things along those lines? I've always accepted the belief that punkbuster would eliminate that stuff, but is it esentially foolproof? Has there been any know instances of people successfully "programming around" punkbuster?
I ask tonite because I got accused of cheating by MY own teammate, who said he wouldn't play MOB servers because they allowed MOB cheaters, and left! I felt kind of bad. At first I just laughed at him, but other n00bs might read that and wonder. Is it an acceptable argument to simply say the game is punkbusted, there are no known cheats that can beat it? I have to admit, I always liked being called a cheat because I felt it reflected how good I was, but it is less cool now that I have the "MOB-R" tags on. However, this dude, I still have no idea what his problem was. He said I wasn't even aiming at the guy I hit, and in reality I had to shoot at the guy for 2 seconds from 150 feet away with the jeep gun to kill him, and yes, I was aiming right at him! Anyway, just wondering about cheats. Are they real, or is it just whining? MoD --------------------  |

Yes there are aimbots that people use. Yes punkbuster blocks some of them but in reality PunkBuster sucks. People have so many ways to get around PB.
