Hey Guys,
This came up and reminded me of another thread going right now so I thought I'd bring it up. Is it a hack/lame/wrong to use exploits on the maps... i.e. getting somewhere the map maker didnt intend. Behind the map etc. What are your thoughts? Fair game or lame hack? Junkie --------------------  Give a man a match and he's warm for a min. Set him on fire and he's warm for the rest of his life. |

on certain maps,if ppl go out of bounds,there are holes in the map,so you have a clean shot into bases etc,and ppl cant get to you.so this is an unfair advantage.
So this is why we ban for it. -------------------- |

If you ever hear someone complaining about a "wall hack" it is usually because someone has gone outside the map where they can shoot through everything. On some maps, it is possible to exploit holes in a map to position yourself outside of the map so you are shooting up from below the floor of a base. The person inside the base can't see you, so this is a completely unfair advantage and not part of the planned gaming environment.
Jumping to get into unique positions isn't a hack, it is just climbing, as long as you stay within the map boundaries. |
