I have put off buying a new screen for a while, but the time has come.
Do you guys have any suggestions? Any good comparison sites? What about all the specs, what should I look for and avoid? |

as a canadian shopper, i highly recommend tigerdirect.ca or canadacomputers.com. i have ordered many products from both and had no troubles what-so-ever! i ordered my viewsonic vx2025wm for under 400$cad from tigerdirect and it works great! http://www.canadacomputers.com/index.php?d...&cid=MT.258... it ranks fairly high in reviews when compared to other models in it's price range! i did quite a bit of reading on monitors of this size and it boiled down to this one and dells 207wfp http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/product...mp;sku=320-4688... both great monitors in that price category!
if your not looking for something that big i would recommend atleast going 19''. make sure it's under 12ms response time to avoid ghosting in games, and over 500:1 contrast ratio. the higher the contrast ratio the deeper the black levels will be, hence better picture. and i would've recommended newegg as well because they have everything you could ever want for computers, but they don't ship to canada!  g/l sh and don't shop the net till your eyes bug out like i did  --------------------  |
