Anyone else fancy these games too.....
Recently I got hooked on Highway to the Reich by Matrix games. Based on the 1944 Arnhem campaign. It has a very creatively designed engine and troop order management is exceptional= given its detail it's very easy to learn. Curious to know if you have favourites... and if any other old farts here used to play the strategy board games with chit pieces and dice> like Advanced Squad Leader. I loved all the old Close Combat series as well. Bridge Too Far was probably my favorite... the later titles were still good and the graphics got better, but they didn't have the simplistic approach as 1 and 2. I got annoyed w/the weapon accuracy in the later titles too.
