Wondering policy on Long Range base shots on Tuchola Forest Server. Have been noticing it a lot lately and was hoping for clarification.

He made sure that you coudn't do any long range shelling with the Paks because it's too easy to get a firing solution and once you do it never changes. In Tuchola, you need to move the tank into position before you can take the shot. Trust me, it's not easy to line up your FS since the tank is not in the same spot all the time. Also, different tanks have different trajectories so that changes things as well. He even had some comments about raising/lowering the bases to balance the difficulty of long range shelling between the Allies/Axis.
