Many of us MOB'sters are family people, and we are in this forums at least one time each day. Myself I have a laptop in our livingroom and I check the forums regularly, often with my children hanging around me. I must admit than some avatars from several MOB Regs is not suited for domestic area. We have Grandparents, grandchildren and children watching this site. And personally I would like to have a general rule which forbid sexual or violent avatars. After all this is not a personal homepage - It's the MOBCLAN site.

I understand you concern but disagree with any formal restriction. I think some of the avatars are in extremely poor taste, but some may think the same of mine. (although I can't understand why...) so there-in lies the problem.
And, it becomes a judgement of acceptability. Who becomes the judge and jury? I'm with junkie, turn off the avatars if you have a problem and are concerned with content or over the shoulder peekers. The avatars are generally tame, considering any grandpa, or kid can pull up google and find worse stuff in as long as it takes to type it. No formal restriction is my vote.
