Hey Flat, those red bellies are so cool.Years ago i had 3 of them.When i bought them they were maybe the size of a quarter.In about a year they grew to the size of the palm of your hand.and that one looks about that size now.Unfortunately I did'nt feed them enough and they turned first on the smallest of the three and then with two squared off and then i only had one.LOL He lived about another year after that.

Check this out.You gotta try this man go to the fish store and buy a more active fish to feed him.the ones i bought looked like silver sides and were really im mean really active they just swim back and forth and back and forth.It took my red belly probly two days to nail him and its fun to watch... .it just drive them nuts its just so cool.

Also be sure to keep that tank as clean as posable dont let to much meat bi products to accumulate in the tank it will drive up the amonia content in the water .You prob know that already.That water looks really cristal clean.

They out lawed them here in New York you cant get them here anymore.If i were to start a fish tank i'd love to get them again they are awsome.There a heck of alot more fun than those oscers they just suck the feed fish down one gulp BoRRRINGGG..LOL..

You should make a video of him feeding and post it here man...
