I can certainly respect that. How about moving all this "history" down to the Mohaa read only archive area, soz this upper area of the forums could remain for active, current information. That way, you can leaf through the history books when you like and no one will post jokes or any other current stuff in your memories.
The opera forum, while very nice and everything, is not used for it's original, intended purpose any longer. That is my point. I don't want to see your memories taken away, or the founding fathers threads on how to get vent to work on a Mac or how some clan was/is full of pussies, etc. get tossed aside as if they are worthless. I think we should preserve these archived treasures for all to see in an area of the forums that would accomodate them and our needs. I don't wanna lose them. Obviously peeps are looking to post some things in other areas of our forums so they get the attention they feel their topics deserve. What I'm suggesting is to possibly arrange our information to mirror a library, all the current information is right up front and all the "for reference only" and history is in the back.
