Agreed. this game lost somethin goin from the UT2k4 mod version to the retail version.

As for all those ppl in RO who think that the T34 is better than the Tiger...

1.) The maps in RO are TINY compared to the optimal engagement ranges of the Tiger (1km+ for the Tiger)... Heck, the Unreal engine doesn't RENDER ANYTHING past 1k in that game, which negates the intended usage of the Tiger.

2.) Due to the penetration models that they use in-game and tactics used commonly also, the T-34 has a larger immunity angle than the Tiger does, despite the fact that the Tiger had (a.) better armor, both in quality and thickness (the only thing they messed up was sloping it); (b.) a bigger main gun with better range and more penetrative capability than can be accurately portrayed in RO.

When I played RO online, I loved schooling those Ruskies how a Tiger could easily dominate when used PROPERLY. I'd usually just drive it to a nice spot, usually flanking their main push, angle it correctly to make it neigh invincible, then start putting 8.8cm AP rounds into the most opportune Ruskie tank that came along into my sights...

FYI, Stryker9, that second pic where you claimed to have killed a second Tiger.... that's a Pz. IV F2, not a Tiger.
