Greetings MOB and community from the RafterMan!



My real name is Marc, and I've been an avid fan of CoD:UO since it came out and have been a regular fan of and player on the MOB Barbarossa and (more often) Tuchola Forest for about six months. I always find the highest quality play on your servers.



I'm 36 and live in Boston. As a trial lawyer with a stressful practice, I find there is nothing quite like taking off to the Eastern Front for a few hours to blow off some steam (and blow up some tanks). I only wish my wife understood the importance of going to the front -- she even refused to get me the STUGIII self-propelled anti-tank gun I wanted for Christmas, notwithstanding my assurance that we could mostly conceal it in a low-profile, hull-down defensive position in the backyard.



Go figure...I'm a huge WWII history buff, and try to read at least one book on the subject per month.



I'd like to join "Regs" at some point,and have just started learning about the process. There is no other clan I am particularly interested in, and it seems like the MOB members are a very diverse and dedicated group.



Some other facts -- favorite weapon: Kar98k sniper or Mosin-Nagant sniper, with a little arty for spice; favorite maps: Tuchola, Foy; motto: defuse or die trying!

Yeah, MOB is a good bunch. Thats how we roll.

I actually found MOB because of my love for the Tuchola map. Now I enjoy all the servers.

Thanks Shred and Burn! I have checked out Frontline, and that seems to be a totally fantastic map, although it seems that everytime I look, it is not that very populated.



CoD2 is a sensitive subject for me. I loved the single player game, but the multiplayer pissed me off so much that I wrote a huge post on it at the Gamespy forums. I thought it was a rediculous, huge step back from UO -- no vehicles, no arty, etc. With that said, it looks like some patches and some mods have made it more appealing, and I will be checking out MOB CoD2 servers in a few weeks. I just hope my connection speed is as nice as the UO servers! Hope we get to meet sometime. Best wishes.

Thank you, but I'm afraid that full compliance will be difficult, as I'm sure you understand. Wouldn't be very challenging if I just sat back....However, have been owned by you before, I suspect trying and sitting down are basically the same thing! Best wishes.!

Thank you T/A6Pak! I have seen you around wrecking people and things I pretty sure LOL! This is probably a silly question reeking of noobitude, but could you tell me how ventrillo works? Is it a program that lets you speak to one another via headset, or am I totally off base? Thanks in advance, and looking forward to seeing you on the field.

LOL! Very funny, and thanks. Do you play on Tuchola [email="S@BOT"]S@BOT[/email]? I think I have seen you before, but not sure where....Anyway, fear not -- not only do I not know how to shark on a map (i couldn't cheat if you paid me I'm so technically inept), but I'm not really the prototypical lawyer -- Im a commercial litigator, never do personal injury, although kicking ass and taking names is definitely part of my job description. Now I just have to make that work in UO....not as easy when the Red Army is storming your bunker -- much tougher than defense lawyers...
