After looking back at serveral threads, there seems to be an interest in replacing Broadsword with the Frontline map and in going back to the standard map rotation in the German Front MOD server. Both have been changed.
Steel is more familiar with some of the weapons and tank mods used in UO so I leave those changes up to her. She will probably be very busy with work for the next month so don't expect a quick response. Old Man Mike |

Frontline seems to have ok traffic, not great but GFM is a graveyard. After initial interest, I never see anyone on it. Like Undead, I really think it is TDM at its finest. I just don't know how we can gather more interest.

That's why the objective style servers (base assault, CTF, etc.) do well and TDM servers just go by the wayside. I played the GFM server once and it was pointless, IMHO. Run and die, run and die. No real objective to it other than to score some points...I, and many others, want to "achieve" something other than scores. Nothing gives me more satisfaction than blowing up Russian 3 on Barbarossa or grabbing and planting the flag over at -DWR-'s CTF server...and the activity on Barbarossa is proof of that. |
