I know someone in MOB builds computers, can you give me your input on some stuff?
Building a new pc soon 80% for gaming, 10% for dl movies and music 10% other crap. Im not worry about cost. Processor.? Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor E6700 (4MB L2 Cache,2.66GHz,1066 FSB Memory?4GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHz- 4DIMMs HardDrive?500GB Performance RAID 0 (2 x 250GB SATA 3Gb/s 7200 RPM HDDs) Graphics Card? {which one?} 256MB nVidia Geforce 7300LE TurboCache 256MB ATI Radeon X1300 Pro 256MB nVidia GeForce 7900 GS Sound Card? Sound Blaster® X-Fi™ XtremeMusic (D) Sound Card Or anything eles that is better? That I can get in Canada. Well since price is not an issue run two video cards in SLI. I run one geforece 7950 GT KO and get 333 FPS on COD2 on almost all maps. If you ran two of those you'd be over killing it big time I would think..... You might consider buying a decent card now and then replacing it again as the next batch of games comes out with DX10. Just a thought... Oh make sure you get a VERY good power supply. You'll need it for that CORE 2 and a good video card.
