Okay dudes and dudettes, I've finished my newest modern weapons mod and it is running like glass on our Modern Weapons Custom Maps server at 67.106.77.244:28960. Please check it out and let me know what you think.

My original Modern Weapons mod was based upon Tally's mod. Over time, I changed the way the guns shot (mostly ammo and recoil), removed the MAC-11, and eventually added a souped up Kar98, M1carbine, and MP44 with all customized sounds. So the guns were M4a1, AK-47, SIG552, M40a3, Kar98, M1carbine, MP44, and UMP. I later added TNT and fiery smoke grenades but they were glitchy, so I took em back out. Of the top 5 modern weapons coduo servers, 4 are using this mod (the 5th is using the Zoxo mod).

What I did in this newest version of my mod, was remove some weapons and pull in some weapons based on those in the Zoxo mod. I changed a few things about the guns and mapped them differently weapon-wise, but basically, if you like playing them in the Zoxo mod, you'll love 'em here. Ah, the sweet steely touch! So the guns now are:

G36, MP5, M4a1, AK-47, Dragunov Sniper, Kar98, M1carbine, and UMP. (No other server in the world contains this weapons mix!)

The mod also includes our very own {MOB} custom compass, and you may catch one or two other little goodies I added along the way. Enjoy!

And as always on MWCM, if you dislike any of the maps, or know of maps you'd like to see there, just speak up.

It wouldn't have been anything to do with the mod, because I always put mods in upper-level sub-folders where they cannot interfere with the rest of a players coduo. If you go on a server where the mods download into your /uo/ directory, it is going to mess with you going on other servers.

However, MWCM may be running some custom map that doesn't play nice with Tuchola. When you play custom maps, it's typical to have to delete some out to be able to play others.
