It was pointed out to me yesterday by an MOB member (during an afternoon game), that I had been firing on the wrong German bunker in Barbarossa, and I'd like to apologize publicly if I have done that in the past (unbeknownst to me). Y'all please let me know if I slight anyone, I assure you it will be taken with a cheerful thanks.

Hey Pez,

It seemed like you were saying that you would think you would be yelled at for hitting the wrong base. But actually, if I typed to you that you should not fire on a certain base, you would probably find out why and then make a decision based on what you read as to the reason why not to. Not just keep fireing on it and running over the person that is telling you not to, right?

The bases are easily noticed because of the numbers on the map. When you fire on one, the base number flashes at the bottom.

The reason I play this type of game is because it adds an objective to the game other than just killing like the TDM that you play. I love going on cassino and tearing it up sometimes, but the team play of BAS is the best to me. I am totally addicted to it.

I do like more team games w/objectives, but it seems that the only time people play as a team is in a match or scrim. Otherwise, it's just people doing their own thing on the team or someone barking orders. My old team used to play a lot of DOM and CTF, it was fun... but people would start camping or doing their own thing, even though it was "for the team", it was boring and didn't give me the satisfaction of team play. Don't get me wrong, TDM has no team play... everyone's out for themselves most of the time. But atleast with TDM, I can hop on whenever I want, hop off whenever I want... and whenever I do that I'm smack in the middle of action. I don't have to walk across a map for 10 mins only to be taken out by some schmuck across the other side of the map on some PAK. I can see the apeal to BAS, I'm not knocking it... I just haven't had pleasurable experiences when I've played it.
