any other place to dload mods and maps? Options

hey steel u mentioned maybe getting a second download site any chance there is one?



i had to format and reinstal my OS now trying to reinstall the game and its going to take forever to dload the mod off the server dl site some reason event ho i get awsome ping in game i cant dl from that site for crap

It doesn't make any sense that the downloads for mwcm is bad for you. I tested it just now and everything downloaded within a couple of minutes... and I'm far from Chicago where the server is. Let's see what actually happens when you get your game reinstalled.

One thing, remember that when you're doing a fresh call of duty and uo install, to have a completely new folder ... all the old stuff needs deleted out. Don't start over again from some backup of your hard drive, where you'll be putting the same old crud back on the hard drive.

Typically when I've seen folks have trouble downloading, it's because they have a crapload of stuff in their call of duty and/or uo directories.

When I was talking about getting a new maps download site, it was several weeks ago when the one the server company gives us had crapped out for a few hours. I got it fixed and it's been running fine since then. As long as it stays working fine, no need to switch it.
