Guitar Hero 80's Edition, Releases 6/2007 Options

So I've read some of the press releases and they're keeping most of it underwraps for now. From what I've heard, it's going to be the same exact format as GH2 but with 80's songs. I'm still very intrigued. I haven't read anything on the lines of the playlist, only rumors.

So far I've heard;

There will be some basic hair metal songs. AC/DC, Whitesnake, Poison, Motley Crue, Def Leppard... to name a few. Also heard, no Metallica.

Then there will be some good music. Dead Kennedys, old Chili Peppers, possibly Misfits.

I'm wondering how they're going to work in more synth pop stuff, like Depeche Mode, etc.

Again, this is what I've read... probably all rumors. Judging from the last two though, they do seem to mix up the music well so everyone's happy.

Anybody hear anything, please post what playlists you've heard so far. Actually, post what playlist you'd like to see too!

There's also a Guitar Hero III scheduled for release in the fall. It is being made by another company but will feature additional material online for download as well as online multiplayer for all platforms. Should be sweet...
