No, mwcm replaced the coduo German Front Mod server.
OMM replaced the COD2 mixed maps with the COD2 rifles-only server. -------------------- [img][/img]

Sorry that I was on travel and had to rely on my Old Man memory when I recommended the server that could be replaced with MWCM. I wish that I had remembered that the German Front Mod server was on the 28961 port rather than the default 28960. I think it would have been better to start up the new server with an IP using the default port and would have rearranged things to make that possible. But I guess it doesn't make that much difference since a server becomes popular based on people saving the server as a favorite and the port number is transparent to that. My other recommendation was that we do it in a gradual manner by slowly reducing the slots on the old MWCM server with a constant advertising of the new server. I also wanted to see how our box handled the load. Maybe the cold turkey approach is better - I guess time will tell. The payment to Gunservers has already been made for another month so we have a fallback if running on the dedicated box becomes a problem. Anyway, I should be back home Wed evening. Old Man Mike |
