As a big fan of J.R.R. Tolkien books, i was also happy with the movies base on the books.
There is only soo much you can take from the books and put into a movie, and I think Peter Jackson did one hell of a job making these films. But we are hear to talk about what started all of these other books JRR Tolkien wrote, The Hobbitt. He wrote the book for his son, when Tolkien was fighting the germans in WWI. As a kid i love the hobbitt, got like 4 books of the hobbitt lol and all 3 books on LotR and other books base on lord of the rings. After watching the movies I said to my friends i hope they make the Hobbitt. Sam Raimi is the director http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0903624/ This movies has to be at less 3 1/2 hrs long. I was just talking to someone today about if they were making this. I sort of feel like they missed the boat since all the buzz is gone from the LOTR series. I can't wait to see it myself though. Should be good.
