This is a solution to any/all of the PB issues that i have encountered.
http://www.punkbuster.com/index.php?page=pbsvcfaq.php Go there and download Pbsvc, its in the first paragraph. Use this program to uninstall punkbuster. *Note* This only uninstalls punkbuster services not the whole punkbuster.I had a topic about this before the server went down just never posted it again for certain reasons we will not discuss...Glad it worked for you.
