Bush admin = arm twisters
- remember Gonzo at hospital bed seeking a signature from a very sick admin member - now Bush admin telling General Petraeus not to speak his mind so frankly. http://blogs.trb.com/news/politics/blog/20...xploit_pet.html here's this for you Bush fans; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xiuRhy4CqzU...;watch_response Of course those amongst you in the 30% of Bush fans will sight obvious gains -even though ignoring the costs and why. Displaced Iraqis in hundreds of thousands -rival religious segments of populations vacating areas which is a result of successful death squad shite liquidations. Judging by Bush's speech, the gullable would think everythings smooth sailing in Iraq's imminent future - if we stay the course. Bush is using a General Patton trick-in the rush into GermanyWW2 Patton had a trick of getting a load of the limited supplies available to all the allied generals on that Front by asking for a little bit at a time so as to never get refused- and then keep asking for a little bit more - and more....... You thought Bush would keep his word and tell us the surge would end now as scheduled- hah---- now he's saying wait a bit more until next Summer......... one could get the impression he wants too prolong his screw-up into the next Presidency so they will get the blame when the effort in Iraq fails/goes worse..... Surge has failed to bring political stability in Iraq. The present govt. is a puppet for the militias and no doubt Iran's whacko leadrership. Shites will soon fight each other power grabbing rights. All I heard Bush ramble on about is military successes. Troops are human beings - the war effort has gone on too long -the effort is tiring and draining ->nearing breaking point -especially when the CinC has no clue when the military side of things would end----- land no clue about what would happen after Iraq is 'free'. That's when the real fireworks will begin with factions and groups wrestling for power with each other -as a result of no leadership unifying everyone. What's really revolting in that 'speech' is the continuous referencing to 9-11. I'll keep saying it - why does Bush keep babbling the stupid fantasy that pee-on cannon fodder al quaeda ops trickling in from Syria [ even 10% of enemy activities there?] are who will be landing in the USA and elsewhere to bring streetfighting terror on our doorsteps. Definately fear-mongering crappola - Bin Laden's all set and recuperated because of Bush's thick-headed crusade-delusional single-mindedness. I hope some wrath kicks the asses of most of the Dems in congress/senate/presidential race to stop being pansies by only thinking about hedging their bets on 'the surge' results to look good in the next year in making insincere speeches to voters. I don't consider myself gullable but i do fall into the 30% and am proud of it.Just thought i'd return a belly laugh to you. Hellfighter is in the 18% that support the democrat congress. Bush is now at 36% and probably half of them dislike him for exactly opposite reasons the left hates him. LOL -------------------- ![]() War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. Hellfighter, Last night i clicked on the post about leave Brittany alone and afterward i thought to my self, that would be great if they did a spoof on bush to leave him alone. ....... Hahahaa, I think you could do some scripts for other youtube wannabe superstars perhaps I don't consider myself gullable but i do fall into the 30% and am proud of it.Just thought i'd return a belly laugh to you. Hellfighter is in the 18% that support the democrat congress. Bush is now at 36% and probably half of them dislike him for exactly opposite reasons the left hates him. LOL ohhhh, I'm just busting balls regarding 'gullable' in referring to rival opinioned members at MOB/forums, Mr.Andtennile ,and my chum Mechanic Those that aren't in mob/forums are gullable imo Please clarify why half of Bush's 36% of supporters dislike him -that sounds intriguing..... I'm not sure if you read my posts in full Mr.Andtennile or if you just like seeing me type too much more than I have to in correcting your presumptions I repeatedly said I don't like many of the Dems in power right now - and I'm definately not supportive of their pansy efforts in the Senate and Congress -which I rate barely better than the repubs - so for the record I'm not in the 18%.... As I said before I liked Bush senior as a world leader. I would like Bush junior as a next door neighbour and as a funny reliable friend who I wouldn't shy away from acquainting with at all. For the record he's not in his element as a leader for the people and I'm nauseated by his habit of choosing loose-cannon chums over those who are the best choices to be in his admin [or when he does have qualified people, he silences/fires them if they raise slightly divergent opinions to his own]. For the record, the dems I do truly like in the presidential race, are almost nil -most are self-serving hypocrites... the ones I think have some sincere clarity I don't think would be world leaders - I personally like Joe Biden. Obama would be ready as a President in 2016 imo. Clinton is the 'safest' bet since she's very shrewd and calculating [and an irritating fence sitter] before jumping into decisions -besides which she'll have your chum Billy-boy giving her pointers on getting through any tight squeezes she may get into..... -> which I know deep inside you Mr.Andtennile, you find very reassuring I, Hellfighter approve this message.
