Hey Guys and Gals,

On my last trip to Hawaii I heard this song they played on the radio all the time and I really liked it. I talked with some locals and they told me the story of a local that sang it and a little story behind it. I just looked on you tube and seen this of the song. I really think this is just so damn beautiful. I love this damn song and thought I must share to those that have not heard it.

Man, I am getting old. I can't believe there are people so young that never heard this song before!

Written for Judy Garland for the movie Wizard of Oz. On of the most copied songs ever.

The song tops the "Songs of the Century" list compiled by the Recording Industry Association of America and the National Endowment for the Arts. Even beating out Bing Crosby's 'White Christmas'. It also topped the American Film Institute's "100 Years, 100 Songs" list.
