I wouldn't say Fascism.
Very disturbing traits by Bush though regarding chiselling away at personal constitutional rights/journalistic freedoms/ flagrantly misleading the voters/letting his chum-goons in the admin get away with ludicrous outrages -> and too commonly giving the free pass of 'executive privileges' to such goons ie, Gonzalez for one.
His linking of his personal patriotic zeal with the armed forces as one reminds me of a Caeser. He may be the commander, but the public not supporting his 'ambitions' doesn't give him/ nor dopeheaded neocons the absurd notion to assert that they are therefore against the military.
No- I don't think Fascism is the word - we still have a vocal democratic process -and no time soon is the military going to openly let itself be used as a Fascist tool of crushing the 'people'; Bush admin stomping around in jackboots though - I'd go along with that.
In a year there'll be elections.... hopefully a message will be made by the voters that will remind future Presidents that their powers have limits that they need to respect - dems/repubs/whoever --> you too Shrillary.
