Rags for clothes and towels for hats.
Constant wailing from the guy next-door because he's sick and there are no doctors.
Constant wailing from the guy in the tower.
More than one wife.
You can't shave.
Your wives can't shave.
You can't shower to wash off the smell of donkey cooked over burning camel dung.
The women have to wear baggy dresses and veils at all times.
Your bride is picked by someone else.
She smells just like your donkey.
But your donkey has a better disposition.

Then they tell you that when you die it all gets better!

You heard that story about the two Iraqis that brought their families to America? The fathers bet each other that they could Americanize faster that the other in one year's time. I have to admit pez the joke made me chuckle ; however-in my continued pursuit of sharing reality facts in forums once in a while to smash into little bits perceived 'prejudicial' stereotypes, Iraqis don't wear turbans or towels on their heads - they're more closer to 'Western' ways of life than most other Arab states in the region. Furthermore there are not a few christians who are living in Iraq too - so the perception-> arabs = 'towel-head' muslims is childish in connotation as is one who would really believe it to be so.

Regarding the original post;
Mechanic my chum- you would've omitted the offensive portions of that list if you actually knew muslim women personally. I have many arab friends muslim/non muslim - some are women who wear traditional attire, and some wear 'western' attire. They don't smell like donkeys. Regardless of whether they are veiled or not, they're very beautiful women in appearance and in spirit.... most are very generous, polite, and humble. - the 'hairy under veils' notion is utterly false and misleading.
People of any culture break down their walls of prejudices and preconceived misconceptions of others once they meet one or more 'normal' people from that formerly disassociated group, and start to realize for the most part in spite of cultural behaviour/clothing differences, as far as normal daily routines we're all wondering/doing the same things -eating, relationships, joking, farting around online, and getting mad after watching the news. Know each other and we'll get along better.
