Foy 24/7, A couple servers around elsewhere -very busy- why not here? Options

24/7 Foy - be it modern weapons or classic, its a very popular draw as people's Favourite'd servers in cod UO amongst the few I see about. I think its worth a try if you want a permanent new batch of folks -imo.

ps. The 'you are weird HF' option should really count as 'yes' vote

Guys, I will do the work to give you any server you really want, or do any tweaking you really want. But you have to realize that my work to make a server/mod is not going to give you a populated server.

When 6pak and McCoy asked for the Modern Weapons BAS server, and likewise when Overheated and others asked for the Rifles CTF server, they went the extra-mile to make them successful. They spent their gaming time on the server, asked everyone who came into vent to play that server with them. They stuck it out until these servers got regular players.

So, my frustration is that I've put up many coduo servers this year that have simply stayed empty.

The one that pretty much broke my spirit to keep giving you everything you ask for was the Barb server with a custom version of my modern weapons mod I made with no dragunov, no rpgs, no fast sprinting, etc. You just had to have it, but then wouldn't play it because it was empty. Gosh, a server that IS empty, STAYS empty, lol.

So guys, if you ask for a server, be prepared to commit yourself to camping it everyday for at least a month, every person who votes yes for it. Please, if you're not prepared to commit to that, then don't vote yes for a server.

Hey Steel I hope I didn't come off as being 'gimme gimme now!' lol
I know about 'too little time' realities as I can relate to you with my own real-life necessities taking priority.
I'm just throwing in this idea as something to be considered down the road-even if months from now.... I'm not playing much anyway and I'm hardly in MOB servers too -so there's no big rush for me in reality to see this idea get considered being put into effect.
Only thing I was doing really was giving my personal suggestion to replace those empty servers with a map I see as consistently popular with regulars in its various mods elsewhere.
Anyway chum-have a very relaxing holiday -it sounds like you thoroughly deserve it!

ps. Turn the frown upside down-at least you tried the Barb idea-now its done and you can move on

ps2- I'll dedfinately try to promote the server if it comes about and I'll take time out to 'populate it'.
