Ladies and gentlemen I need your assistance.
So here is the story; Last Feb. my computers hard drive mysteriously started crashing upon boot with " A disk error has occurred, hit control+ alt+ delete to reboot" Randomly it would do this and then reboot with no problems. Finally about 5 months later it died. So I said to myself I need to stop f-ing around with these pussy ass run in the mill Maxtor hard drives, and get something real. So I went out and picked up 150g Western Digital Raptor. Uploaded my Ghost Image Dvd and I was smooth sailing. BTW Raptors rock major nuts, highly recommended. Few months later same disk error appears. HD will not boot. Initially I refused to believe that it was the hard drive, but after running the disk validation software it was clear that the whole drive was completely fried. So I decided to man up and buy ANOTHER 150g Raptor and send the other one to WD to be replaced. Once few months later the new Raptor dies and I still dont have my replacement. I am sitting here scratching my head can't figure out what the f-ck is going on. Ok I figure it has to be the power supply, voltage is either to high or to low. I grab my volt meter pop the case open and then I remember that I happen to have an extra power supply laying around. Well screw it , its not worth wasting my time so I just pop in the new power supply. Few days later replacement drive arrives and I'm back in business. One month passes, and here I am tonight trying to start my comp and I get damn same god damn mother f-ing message. Ffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuccccccccccccccccccccccccccccckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk kk. This is officially the 3rd WD Raptor and 4 HD reolaced since I have owned the damn thing. Help. -------------------- |
