OK, is this worth it or not?

Anyway, so the processor and video card are the most important parts. What about a motherboard? The motherboard is the core component everything else connects to, so I believe you start from there, it sets the front side bus speed (also called the clock speed) that your ram and processor connect to, so if you have a fast processor but your motherboard can't support that speed your limiting your ram and processor speeds. differences like gddr2 or gddr3. What the hell does that mean? I'm gonna guess that 3 is better than 2, but does it really matter? Yes ddr3 is better, its the type of ram on the video card, its faster than ddr2 and the more ram the better. I've done a lot of research over the past 6 months and have learned a great deal, but I'm no expert by any means, I'm willing to pass on all the information that I have learned, at no cost of course.  You'll be surprised the more you learn the more you will want to learn, at least thats the way it went for me.
