Sid's CIV.II on sale for $10 at stores.... lol I'll pick it up for my methinx since it fits my no-frills budget and no-frills 'old' pc.

damn damn damn - I installed it again
 but I'm getting pretty good.... I got backstabbed last night by the Babylonians. There I was filthy rich and Allied with them who had a huge empire surrounding me. Safe was I thought I.... no need to build any military -just get rich and buy advances.... War erupts between Babylon and France.... I don't have a world map and do not realize France is across the gulf in obscured mapland.. never mind says I, I'll go along with a pre-agreed military pact with Babylon and declare war on France.... well Babylon had a crappy navy compared to France who slices through the gulf with a tiny invasion force and overruns by spear wielding mini-garrisons embaressingly easily with mere knights -one knight per city!!!! The match was quickly exited to avoid further humiliation. I will seek revenge on Persians from now on at every opportunity. Lesson for you Bargod if you are indeed getting the game to overindulge in it, forewarn your wife and kids that you'll unexpectedly be cursing+crying out to the gods of CIV mocking you while you play.
