I may need Bargod to chime in on this (and possibly Blk)
I've been drinkin Cuervo since I'm knee high to a dog turd. Whats with all these new young bartenders tryin to sell me "smoother" tequuila. Listen son. I don't drink tequila (or any alcohol) because its smooth. I have a penis. Better check and see if you have one. I understand Chicks need Margaritas. Fuck they already ruined the Martini. Gonna let them tak the Margarita too? Hell no. Over my inebriated body. Men drink Cuervo. If its smooth its not Tequila. Yes, I understand that Patron is smooth. Cuervo isn't really tequila. But I get your point.
When I started drinking tequila it was because I was looking for a more challenging shot. I've had some very good tequila's, though, and I don't think any are really worth the price. James, there was an Agave blight in '99 I think which is right around the time when Americans started to take an interest in the smaller batch tequilas. I think the prices are just over inflated for the product, but I feel that way about most liquor these days. Oh, yeah. There are plenty of idiots having me waste expensive tequila in margarita's. The point of mixing alcohol is to cover up the taste of cheap liquor. --------------------   |
