who do you use? I need to get some and was looking at hostgator and godaddy. I read some reviews but tbh they are pretty much useless.
any suggestions? |

Most budget hosting is done by people who over sale, then close within a year or so.
The most recommended and reliable for non-commercial hosting is lunarpages.com <<-- host mobclan.com cirtexhosting.com <<-- host 2 of my personal sites. 90% of non-commercial hosting could easily be done using Cirtex's budget plan which works out to less than $48/year on a 12 month plan. People make the mistake of paying to much for hosting based on storage or bandwidth they will never use. It would be rare for a non-commercial site to need more than the 5gb space / 100gb bandwidth on Cirtex's budget plan. Before signing a long term contract with anyone I would 1st do a search at http://www.webhostingtalk.com/ to see what kind of reviews the provider has. I wouldn't sign up with any hosting provider that didn't have an active support forum but that's just personal preference |
