Oil is going to run out & at the rate the world is becoming over populated & the need to fuel that rise in population will casue issues.

Almost everything we own or use is some type of oil based product.Even the roads we drive have an Oil base.

Drilling for more Oil is not the solution becasue it is not a reusable source of engery.

Same with Natural Gas or even Coal.Sure we can drill, dig or mine for these fossil fuels yet once they are gone they are gone.

Even if we did off shore drilling along with tapping into Anwar those barrels of Oil will not solve the high cost per barrel.There has been not one guarantee to the American people that Oil form these reigons will be for American usaged only.No guarantee those barrels of Oil will be used to lessen the rising cost per barrel from other countries.

So like I said nothing will stop Big Oil from sellling those barrels of Oil to others like India & China just for profit.Big Oil knows this becasue the old wells are drying up & they need to find other pools to drill.

Plus we do not have the refineries to keep up with demand.Another reason why more Oil is not the answer.Our refineries are old.Intead of building new ones or more (which our goverment will not allow) they can only repair out dated crumbling ones they have now.

Again for whatever reason no one in this country in power ever thinks years ahead like 100 years not 10 years.We had our chance back in the 70's & were warned that another crisis will & can happen if we depend upon forgien sources of engery to run this country.Like typical American thinking we chosse not to listen & decided the "it won't happen to us approach" instead.
