i was doing strong lifts up until a Green beret buddy came into town a few weeks ago,we were talking about both our workouts and he challenged me to come work out with him saying hes seen power lifting Marines nearly collapse. hesitantly i accepted and WOW ,it was very very intense but not much different from our stronglifts .ive been sticking with it but my warnings to all,the first week is a killer . i thought id post linkage to a site that is very similiar.

Nice TM.

About the 300 workout, I found this article on target.
http://www.conanstevens.com/bodybuilding-a...f-bollocks.html
Gerard Butler the start of 300 has always been in pretty good shape, it's not like he went from flab to fit.

Hell, I'm a total newbie to this kind of stuff but a few things really jumped out at me from the guys site.
1) Next to no mention of diet requirements, sorry but you're not going to get down to his reported body fat ratio of 5% without paying VERY close attention to what you eat.
2) If you look around his room he's got $1,000's worth of equipment but uses cheapo bands in half of his workouts. I highly doubt this guy got that kind of a body without doing a lot more than he shows in his videos'. Kind of like the body builders you see in the bowflex ads, they didn't get that "Bowflex" body by working out on the bowflex.
3) I was kind of surprised to see how little weight he was using. In one of his videos showing him doing overhead presses, it looks like he's only got 20 lbs on the bar.
4) I always question sites like his, someone who comes from a fitness background but has a site which revolves around " look at me going form flab to fit".
I would be willing to bet money this guy normally looked closer to his final picture than his starting picture. Someone who's always been active an fit can easily put on a lot of body fat by reducing their workouts while bulking. They are actually still very fit under the extra added weight, then it's just a simply matter of cutting their bodyweight. Which for them is 10 times easier then it is for a normal person stating from scratch.

for hardcore endurance exercise routines I was more impressed with stuff on crossfit

This would be the single hardest exercise I've tried
