Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
I sure don't see much difference between the two, but I've only hopped on for a few minutes here and there. I've noticed that some of the battles are on Pacific Islands where there are palm trees and the enemy speaks Japanese and carry very big and very pointy swords. Can't say I've noticed a single thing that is different beyond that. I think I've reached the point where the same old thing just isn't doing it for me any more. One thing that drives me nuts is to have an environment built with fake corridors. You HAVE to follow the path the game designers laid out, no flanking the enemy unless the designers want you to flank the enemy. No destructive environment. See that wooden box? Hit it with a howitzer and the damn thing won't move. Try to shoot through slats in floor boards and the bullets bounce off the invisible barrier. Oh, wow, you can shoot through glass now ... that's so COD2. This game feels like 2004 all over again. |
