Mutiplayer will be capture the island ...YES thats all of it....

Attack and defend (usually towns) as the map is abit large and capture the flag .....mostly though it will be co-op using either the whole island or bits here and there.

You will either be respawnwed with or without squad ,loneworlf (so when dead thats it) it really depends on the mission maker ,I myself do realism missions ,so therefore once dead you have to start again ,unless you get a mod that makes you carry a med kit.Or if theres a medic in your squad....

The multiplayer is the same as Arma (the first one)....

Operation Flashpoints engine is what the US Marines and Australian Defence force use to train their recruits...they use a program called VBS or Virtul Battle Space....which you can buy from BI for a mere 1500$ plus afurther 300$ for the addons like speacial forces ETC.

BI make Arma and Arma 2 but Codemasters make OpF and OpF2.

Out of the 2 I have played so far OpF 2 will be the better as Codemasters are the ones that made the engine for it first ,then some guys left CM and formed BI and modified the engine for Arma.........



As for the maps being big ,1 in Arma (the first 1) is over 500 miles long and will take you over 9 hours to walk from end to end.

Plus ALL the maps have no out of bounds...so you can get in a plane or helo and just fly for ever ,well till you run out of fuel .

As for the mods for the games ,there is a very large community for both games and you can see some of the mods for Arma here www.armahiolic.com this is where I get my stuff from.

As for the video trailer for the game ,that is also the gameplay graphics.....there is no difference in them
