After more than a decade of connecting gamers around the world they are apparently discontinuing their service. I recieved the following message moments ago. I greet this with sadness as I have thousands of ppl in my list that even though I might not see them with any regularity (or many in several years) it keeps those gaming memories alive. Xfire will be missed
 Dear Xfire users - It is with sadness that we must announce that the Xfire Social services will be shutdown on Friday (June 12th). Good God almighty!!! Site is still up...... Whoever is still around - Big Hello.
