Ronald Reagan died today at the age of 93. Please take a moment of silence to remember this great man and leader.

Reagan never got much of the credit he deserved do to the Iran/Contra affair.
In my lifetime Reagan was the only president who was a person with strong beliefs which he stayed true to before he was a politician.
His presidency may of been tainted by Iran/Contra but history will remember him as a major influence to ending the cold war, which by they way was large contributing factor of the great economy Clinton was able to coast through during his 8 years.
Even now people still use the term Reganomics refereeing to poor economic plans.
The truth is even though the deficit tripled under his watch, the democratic congress was who controlled the purse stings. Democrats complaining about deficit spending is much akin to a crack addict complaining about getting high.
Reagan cut taxes across the board.
The Dem's of the 80's claim they only passed Reagen's red-ink budget.
While they forget to mention they blocked Reagan's proposed line item veto capability in order to reign in pork.
