Out of habit, I normally type out long post in notepad. I started doing this after losing replies right before posting them.
Here is was my reply to Kirby on TLD which I was unable to post since the topic was locked. I thought I may as well post it here.

Kirby you talk about Silver being all over the place, what about you?
You specifically said the videos on our site were propaganda and we we’re 1st knowingly supporting and then unknowingly supporting the terrorist by spreading their video. So again, I ask you what is the difference when you link to one in an attempt to make a point. Yours was clearly a propaganda piece but somehow your accusation of spreading terrorist propaganda doesn’t apply to yourself.

Since you want to put yourself in the posistion of being the moral conscious of MOHAA forums, I’m very curious Kirb, didn’t you find that video offensive?
Aren’t you worried about kids seeing it?
In half of your post, you mentioned how easily kids are influenced. Aren’t you concerned it will lead them to think it was appropriate to make fun of people suffering from downs as the kid the video clearly is?
Or will this be another example of your selective outrage?
So there will be no misunderstands, I could care less what’s posted on the TLD site.
You know why? Because it’s THEIR site, it’s not up to me or anyone else but them to decide what is and isn’t appropriate on THEIR site.
Just think of game servers and website as TV channels, if you don’t like what you see, then turn the channel.

While we are the subject of your absurd “TLD is for me - Resigning from mob.” post. I think it’s worth mentioning, you said you quit playing on the MOB servers because of the terrorist video. The fact is, you haven’t played on the MOB server since you made an ass out of yourself with your “ Monkey see monkey do post”

This was almost 2 month prior to the video you said is the reason you quit playing on our server.

You also stated several times the majority of the people on the server and forum were kids. When I disagreed, you said I couldn’t possibly know the ages of people who frequent our server. Quick logic check, if the person running the server can’t possibly know the typical ages of the people playing, how could you state it’s mostly kids.
I’m basing my opinion on:
I’m more actively involved in the mohaa community at large.
I’m without a doubt more involved when it comes to our servers and website.
Rarely a day goes by which I don’t get emailed concerning either stuff related to MOB or Mohaa in general
In between helping people with missionary problems, server issues, general Mohaa questions, I’ve spoken to probably 50 people on the phone so far this year and 100+ more between TS and Vent.
Of the mass exoudus of people who have left MOHAA, I think most of them were kids. In general they don’t stick around as long as older players. They tend to jump to the newest game when it comes out.
Younger players tend to stick to stock and not realism servers. I get this from the countless hours spent lurking at MOHAA community forums like AA, EA and PMOH.
You now know what I base my opinion on. In comparision you said you based your opion on chat messages in gamespy. I was just wondering if there was anything else, like maybe a chat with Psychic Miss. Chloe?

All through the debate, you constantly brought up the issue of kids but failed to respond to me asking who should be responsible for what they see on the internet, me or their parents. As I said before, the internet has never and probably will never be a kid friendly place. So please don’t put it on me, Realdeal or MOB in general, if parents allow their children to randomly browse the internet. I certainly won’t when my kids get to be that age.
So I ask again, who is responsible for what kids see on the internet?

All through the topic you come of as being morally superior because you disagree with the video’s being posted. Yet you’re the one who diminishes what they are for and why when you callously claim it’s done for entertainment

Throughout the whole discussion you brought up several times this is a gaming site we should stick to talking about gaming. Yet, here you are on a gaming site talking about it yourself. When I asked about your double standard you made your own smart-ass remark

Where here’s an idea? Maybe you could voiced your concerns by emailing me as I know you have me email address or you could of even emailed Realdeal as his email is listed as the contact for the website.
Of course if you emailed either of us to address your complaints you would of missed the chance to make your grand post on another clans forum.

All I can say is, I wouldn’t have even bothered to reply if you would of simply posted you disapproved of the videos. I guess you thought you had to make your personal opinion sound better with your wild accusations of us supporting the terrorist.

You can keep your outrage over the video’s being posted. My outrage will remain with the fact there were video’s to post.
