heres a question.
how much change has there been in your day to day life since 9-11? do you notice things and became more aware of things? anything seriously change? has the world changed as a society? really courious to what all of you think and feel. the NYC folk and the canadians i wonder on a diffrent level. NYC peeps are you still afraid, or watchful of the area. does the sight of the skyline still drag you down? canadians did this really effect you? sorry i know i post stupid shit at times (most of the time) but this really has been making me wonder for sometime. how much effect has this had on the society. oh and the cubans (sorry about castro btw) whats you thought about this situtation? has things changed itn you country and are your people watchful of terrorists? thanks Silver |

Oddly enough it makes me wish for the good old days of Cold War and the ingrained fear of nuclear war. Things were so much simpler then. Now that I have a son I think of how scary it is that the enemy is out there, but we aren't exactly sure who it is. I realize we know its terrorists and Al Qaeda and Muslim Extremists, but they don't wear a uniform, or come from a single country or present a clear target. Everything is so vague. It's easier to be afraid of a known known than a known unknown (to use Rummy's terms).
