I havent posted in a while but this past election really made me sick.

I was so disgusted that people went to the polls to vote on moral issues and the war in Iraq. How can you support a man who supports denying fellow Americans inaliable rights based upon religious principles that should have no affect on the government in the first place. Those conservative assholes who call themselves Christians and use the faith as both a shield and a sword are so prejudiced and blinded by their hatred that they don't even recognize the basic principles upon which Christianity was founded. I'm sorry but if you're one of those people that voted for the so-called Amendment I you are about as un-American as you can get.

How can you support a president who gives a woman and her family's right to choose to the general population at large. How can you honestly say that you have the right to tell another person what they can and cannot do. I'm so terrified by the declining health of the justices that if Bush were allowed to appoint a more conservative panel, god help us.

And healthcare- neither of the candidates have a solid plan to get reform Social Security or healthcare. What is my generation supposed to do with the terrible legacy that Bush and former Presidents have left. Both of the candidates shyed away from the topic because they are too pussy to deal with it.

Just some of the things I've seen on this message board tells me how ignorant people are in general. Squirrel Lover, in a post you made under the terrorism section, you supported Bush and yet are mad that NAFTA is still in effect. Well just to let you in on a little secret, Bush is not one to do away with that. He is very pro-trade. And how naive are people to think the country will unite? The country will not unite because there are still basic differences in principles and even the conservatives themselves say they are going to be uncompromising- the idea of compromise is what the country was founded upon. Our fucking Constitution and Bill of Rights was a compromise. Come on guys, the country is going down the shitter no matter who is president. The dollar is losing strength, the national debt has sky-rocketed, we have practically no allies in the world, and meanwhile Iran and North Korea remain imminent threats. I'm moving to Canada, Diesel make room, I'm coming over.
