NHLPA ratified the new CBA, now if the owners do the same (which they will) there will be a season next year! I sure hope the fans come back, hockey is the greatest sport out there. The changes are being made to ensure more scoring and a more exciting game. For example if the goalie can't handle the puck as much there will be more offense generated instead of the puck simply being cleared out. In my opinion these changes are good for the future of the game.
