 Sharing Broadband Connections, Can it be doone? |

I was wondering if any of you computer gurus have figured out how to connect two seperate computers on the same broadband connection to a single server...
I have a LinkSys router that I use to share my present connection with two computers. Of course, I can't connect them both to a server at the same time, both get bottle-necked on the port 12203 thingy-ma-bob. I'd love to have friends and parisioners over for a shared frag-fest! FatherMurphy |

I was running 4 off one modem I use a network switch but now my ISP figured out what I was doing and has limited me to 2 external IP's so only my dads comp and mine can get out to the internet but I am going to fix this I am going to give my dads IP to the my file/mass mp3 server
 so that he and my sister have to connect to the server to get to the internet so when she is on his intenet will be slow but that s ok because I pay for it anyways and she is hardly ever on so its no big deal for himfather what OS you running maybe I can help you out I know how to network in 2000/xp with little trouble and I can make the network work in 98 buts it way more of a pain in the ass (it does not work all the time I am still faily new at networking) -------------------- fool me once and I die fool me twice and you get my SMG shoved down your throat :P
