I got banned from your server last nite? I was playing last nite with my friend and then i left and went to bed woke up and tried to connect and it says ive been permanently banned? ummm i just want to know why i was banned and if i can get unbanned, ur server was the only server i pubbed in, if not ill just have to find a new pub server.. http://8.9.4.75/COD2_stats/player_paradox+...t+f8ked+ae.html - theres my stats page, i love your server hate to not be able to play there anymore cant remember what admins were on, it was like 2am and i was hopped up on nyquil thanks in advance Stoked This post has been edited by Druid: 12/15/05 2:54am |

In your case I racked it up to a freak occurance of 2 players sharing the same guid.
Even with the large amount of people who have played on our server it should be extremely unlikely 2 people would share a guid. After going through logs I found dozens of people sharing guid's I'm guessing IW or activision screwed up on whatever algorithm they used to make a players guid from their cd key or maybe it only uses a part of the cdkey versus the whole key. Either way I highly doubt guid's are spread along the limited possiblites of 1,000,000 I would now guess it's only a fraction of that. -------------------- Not a word was spoken to contradict or disagree with S@bot when he called me a....
