I am going to need to know how to start a website.

how do i register a domain name, and get added to google yahoo etc...

what programing language do I need to learn to do this? (or how much does it cost to have someone do it?)

what kinda cost does it take to keep it afloat? Am i missing anything?

Out of curiousity, what kind of website do you want to put up?

Of the cheap basic host, this is the one I would recommend
http://ripplehost.com/
You have to be VERY careful when you go with a cheap host because most are start-ups that won't last 6 months. Unlike Ripplehost who has been around for several years, the only bad part is the offer no real support besides the basics.
99% of the questions you would have can be answered on the web, so you don't really need hands on support for a basic site.

Not a word was spoken to contradict or disagree with S@bot when he called me a....
bully, dictator, snide, hypocrite, arrogant, smartass and lets not forget,
according to him the way I act is reprehensible.
Yet, you're going to censor my signature because it's inappropriate and might hurt his little feelings???
Sorry. don't think so

just a basic site with a few pages, giving contact info and rate info with email. dont expect alot of people using it, more or less for advertising etc. my van will be the rolling www.<insertnamehere>.com

what is a WYSIWYG editor???? I dont expect to do much bsiness at first on there, might need to add a tracking thing but that will come later.
