getting kicked for silly reasons... Options

just curious when it'll stop

i dont know if some people have some personal vendetta against us/me or what. perhaps im going too far with this post too, but im curious when we wont be kicked anymore for trivial reasons.

When a few people questioned your play.
I was very outspoken to the fact of them being wrong.
Without knowing the circumstance of jaison being kicked, I can't really speak to it
but I highly doubt he should of been.
I've spoken to Jaison several times on the server and xfire, he's a good guy.
I highly doubt he did anything wrong to deserve getting kicked.


To your comment.
It is asinine to think that because of our skill level, we should wait in spectator, carefully watching the teams, and then selecting the appropriate one based on the conjectural level of skill each may possess (a subjective measure i can assure you).
The only thing asinine is how you try to dramatize something as simple as switching teams.
I could care less, if everyone hits auto assign when they join the server.
You know as well as I do auto-assign does absolutely nothing to keep teams even besides basic number of players per team, which means squat.

As for the rest of your post
In all fairness, the subject of stacking has came up several times.
The sole reason we run this server is so people, exceptional players like you and the noobish alike will have a fun place to play.
You act like we're asking you to walk through fire, not do something as simple as switch teams if they are uneven. I don't even want to hear this is some special rule just for you guys because that would be utter bullshit. The same thing has been asked of .atrox. & S8, the only difference is with them it didn't continue to be a problem.
I will happily concede the point, part of the reason it's become such an issue with 51 is because the overall skill level of your players. Some .51 have been better than others when it comes to this issue.


We expect you to split teams when you play on OUR server.

I don't want to hear....
I auto-assign so it shouldn't matter.

If you or anyone thinks stitching teams to help even them out, is to much to ask.
Then play elsewhere.

i hate to argue at all with you druid, but some of us dont join as fast as each other, due to the qualities of our computers. and considering the fact that most people purposely choose allies because most consider those guns better... when we auto assign we do often get put on the same team, usually axis. if we notice that the teams are overly stacked and theres room on the other team, usually one of us will switch. and i must not have been there when the public was complaining about team stacking cuz i never saw any complaints. unless they did it when they were dead or team chat.

the kicking didnt have much to do with any of that though hah.
ill explain that, i wont use any names though. you can ask those on xfire if you want, no problem with me.

at the end of map1, i did a bind during the ending map screen where it shows everyones scores.
the bind says "good game" and either scrolls my name like a marquee, or types it out like a typewriter. i have 2. well, i did one of them.

map2- a member of MOB asked me not to do it. i said "may i ask why not?" he didnt respond. so i said "hey (MOB member name), can i ask why not?" again no response. so i left it alone after asking one more time with no response. i change my name half-way through that map. at the end, i dont do the bind again.

map3- at the beginning of the map i change my name back to regular and about halfway through i get kicked. i dont believe i said anything to warrant it during this map. so i come back in and ask, "why did i get kicked this time?" no response. the MOB member that i believe kicks me leaves and there are 2 others. i ask those 2 if they know why i got kicked. one says yes so i ask if i can talk to him in spec.

we go spec an i ask why and he basically says it has to do with me doing a bind and i didnt get kicked when it happened because i changed my name too fast. he was very nice about it all and i might have been harsher with him than i should have since it wasnt him that did it. he wasnt able to give me a real answer though since he didnt really know.

the member that kicked me comes back and i ask him why i got kicked. he says cuz i gave him lip. which i dont think i did. i ask why i cant do the bind and he says its like peeing in a friends pool or wrapping a friends house. which i dont understand. if the bind said something like "everyone below me are noobs", or "i own you all" or something like that i could totally understand. but it says good game. and i only do it at the end when the scoreboard comes up so its not like it takes up any of the screen and gets in the way. it doesnt lag the server at all. so im just curious why i was kicked for asking why i cant do it.
i realize its your server and i really shouldnt ask why to what a member says. but after we've been kicked so often, it gets a little irritating.
