getting kicked for silly reasons... Options

just curious when it'll stop

i dont know if some people have some personal vendetta against us/me or what. perhaps im going too far with this post too, but im curious when we wont be kicked anymore for trivial reasons.

I was not on when you got kicked, but just a little 411(info) for you. A few nights ago, I was on the COD2 server when your group was on. I was on a different computer and was not wearing my MOBRegs tags. There were no other MOB members on-line and your clan was team stacking major. I sent a message telling you not to and so did another person and you guys stated you were auto-assigned. I watched certain members on your team wait to get into the game so you could all be on the same team. At one point one member went on the opposing team. That night several players were complaining saying that it was BS and that its unfair. A few of your players left then returned later. Being on vent together, I am sure you can tell each other when the teams are unfair, yet you choose not to.

Your clan are excellent players, I only wish I was that good at COD2..and believe me, when I kill you in the game...I pat myself on the back...LOL.

The problem is that this server is public and I watched the complaints the other night. Just because no one from MOB was visible on the screen, your clan team stacked causing problems. Now should we let your clan rule the server and lose potential members because of this? My personal opinion is that if your team likes to rule a server, that you should start your own server for COD2. This way, being that your team is so good, it can play other people that just want to get killed time after time when they spawn. Or play teams that are equally good. Or invite other clans to challenge you.

Hey Jay, no hard feelings, but turn the tables around...Say this was your Clans server and we came in all the time and team stacked causing constant complaints. Would you just sit back and do nothing????

We have 3 CoD2 servers sponsored by serverxtreme.com already, so if we truly wished to "teamstack" then we would do so there without fear of consequences. In fact several times a week we hold a "locked pub" where we invite players from several notable teams, and from our multitude of regular scrim partners, and have a REAL game of CTF. Only the autoassign option for team changing is available, and i suggest if you truly think team stacking is a problem in your server, you would be wise to consider this method of resolving it, rather than resorting to kicking the only good players from it.

Each and every area51 member autoassigns when they join a public server....end of story. We pub for fun, and it's unfortunate that because of our skill level, this may interfere with someone else's personal enjoyment of the game. I for one play this game once or twice a week for fun, and i thoroughly enjoy playing on a server with someone from Revelry for example who literally treat this game as a way of life. Not because they're easy to kill, quite the contrary in fact, they make me play at a much higher level and help me to improve my game.

On a similar note, despite what you might think, i for one ALWAYS change teams to make them more even. I could care less if i'm playing with or against other area51 members, because i'm just there to have fun, and nothing more. When we want to play on the same team, we scrim. Pubs are simply a way to unwind.

I realize this is "your server, and you can do with it what you please" but continuing to kick high caliber players will ensure that the level of competition remains mediocre at best, and quite frankly is childish and petty.

1. if you have 3 servers, then why dont you play on them? hmmm....

2. You all auto assign? thats bullshit because EVERY MAP you all are on the same teams, ALWAYS.

3. I have never seen you switch sides, even when an admin has asked.

4. It is our server, so either comply with a request made by an admin or be kicked. it is quite straight-forward.

1. because one is an SD scrim server, two are now for CTF scrims. we have two for CTF cuz one will mess up so we use the other.
2. read my long post. i explained that. some of us have better computers than others in 51 so we join at different speeds. most people purposely choose allies for the "better guns". so when we auto, we get put on axis usually.
3. you also arent always in the server. when we are asked to swith sides, which we hardly ever are when im on, the teams are usually even so we cant.
4. when we have been kicked, or atleast when i have been kicked, no reason was given prior to the kicking.
