hey guys ive been trying to connect to server @2 with new map pack and i cant,i keep getting server timed out,i have 1.1.1. patch,any ideas why i cant get in?Thx guys...loafy.

One additional thing is that I do notice some people with connection issues have trouble getting on at first. We have had this with several people before and I can actually watch them on the autokick console try and get in. What happens is you make an IP connection to the server and it logs you in the Autokick console. Everyone starts there at a ping of 999 which is normal. From there you have 60 seconds to get authenticated to the server or you will be disconnected for high ping. I actually stopped autokick once on an MOB member and watched him get in after 2 minutes and he was fine after that, this after he was repeatedly disconnected trying to get in.
The problem is we can't set the autokick tolerance out that far so unfortunately that becomes an issue for you. I will say that the few times I have seen this happen to people it turned out they were having problems with their DSL or Cable modem and their provider was sending them through several hops which was causing issues. I am not saying for sure you have a problem there but I would surely get that checked out ASAP. Sorry I can not be of more help. |
