Damn COD2 I have tried several settings for mulit player. 800x600 screen bi tri anti for graphics, everything runs super slow in game and everytime i leave a game when i come back in i have to reset all settings it wont save my last choices. Starting to really piss me off.

Lots of people have had problems with the DX9 drivers in the game.
To show how bad it is, most people have seen almost a 100% gain in FPS by switching to DX7. You make the change under Options>>>>Graphics>>>Rendering method preference. Another issue is by default the connection rate is set low. Check to make sure this is set for LAN\Cable\DSL The option is at Multiplayer Options>>Connection By default it's ISDN which is only a 5000kb to the server Where Lan/Cable/DSL is a 25000kb connection to the server. Make all changes before you join our server.
