We've received several request to try out the new map Smolensk in Conquest mode.
I originaly was going to change the game type tomorrow (Monday) as a test.
Giving it a little more thought I've decided to wait until Tuesday.
This way, people who have never played conquest will have a chance to get familiar with the game type before the change.
Here is an overview of how to play conquest, put together by the after-hours group, the same people who made Barbarossa & Smolensk.

We'll run the map in conquest mode all day Tuesday.

After trying out conquest on Tuesday, we would appreciate everyones feedback.

Can I suggest removing tanks for CNQ. It plays much more infantry friendly, and may be a boost to beginners with the gametype on that map. Our better matches (with 16 or fewer players) are by parking the tanks. Full servers, however, can incorporate them with more balance. The key though is teamwork. Too many lone wolf types, multiple snipers, and pak campers will only get your team pinned back and ruin everyone's day. Work together, cover capture zones, and be smart. This map is not as forgiving early on for the Germans as some others might be.
