FK resigns from MOB, .... this is not an April fools joke. Options

Over a year ago a group of us players would get up every day and turn on our computers. We would load MOHAA and head for a server names Shredco. we would wait as long as we had to to get on that server because when you did get in you knew who would be there waiting. Man some of the battles we would have and over time some people rose to the top of that server. Jew, Bitch, Clan, Oppression... those guys owned and it was a blast. From that community of players MOB was birthed and it is on that story line I now proceed to the next chapter of my online life.

It has become apparent over the last few months that MOB and I were going down different paths and it is now time to make official. I am not mad or upset, nor is this a reaction to some specific event. MOB is still the absolute best clan out there and I have some very fond memories of the past year.

MOB has built a core group of tight friends who play together as a team and have talent second to none. I have literally laughed my ass off during some of the banter and discussion between members and as a group most of you will never know how funny and down to earth these guys really are. At the same time I have watched as these guys used teamwork and skill to absolutely pound opponents in matches that would easily bring comparisons to the current war in Iraq.

At the same time, however I have been working on other things. I went "off the page" from the mainstream of the clan 6 months ago and started taking my server down a new path by adding new maps. Then came Spearhead and the community has been further divided. While MOB was rising to the top of the OGL ladder, they were gracious enough to just leave me alone off in the corner doing my thing with server 2. It has been quite some time since ol FK has really been connected with MOB and again I thank them all very much for allowing me to stray off and do my own thing, something most clans would never tolerate.

And that brings us to today, with server 2 having a life of it's own, and a community of followers that reminds me of the old Shredco days some of you will read the first part of this email and say that's how I feel on server 2. But it is unfair as a clan member to go off and do my own thing, only to expect everyone else to then follow me. It is selfish and unreasonable to be honest and yet I am faced with such a decision.

MOB is a small tight knit group of A players and thats what they want to be. FK wants to be a part of the bigger community (and I'm certainly not an A player), wants to move to a pure Sperahead enviroment, and wants to stretch the community more. I now get emails regularly from all kinds of people and several large clans. I could go on for hours but I think you all get the picture or to be honest probably don't care.

Now some final words. I take clan membership serious so here are some things to note before you talk to me in the future.

1) I don't ever want to hear someone trash MOB or any of it's members. I owe a lot of my success to these guys and I will not tolerate or participate in any negative discussions.

2) My decision is final. I have never in over a year even so much as threatened to leave this clan and I think it is a decision that should be well thought out and final. I feel certain that I am doing the right thing for the right reasons and lets all just move on.

3) This decision will in NO WAY affect my running a server, running Spearhead, and running new maps. Everything on the server will be as it has been and when I actually get time I will be on there killing and getting killed like normal.

4) MOB is ALWAYS welcome on my server and there will ALWAYS be a special place in my heart for this clan.

Finally I will continue to visit this forum and answer questions as much as I can. I will help this community any way I can and will continue to try and host the best Spearhead server on the planet. I look forward to using this opportunity to branch out and try some ideas that I have been thinking about for some time.

Now to MOB, I have already said my peace and goodbye's in the private forum but one last thing.... tip your glass to me, sigh a good sigh....... and then just forget about it and go back to killin....

Best of luck on the decison to make this an individual endeavour FK, (though perhaps it's just more formally so). With that being said please don't hesitate to ask any of us regulars from the Community on Server #2 (er, FK's server) for a hand with anything.
I do, however, have some questions:

1. Where will we be able to download your Map Packs?
2. Since it is no longer a MOB server, I suppose it is no longer appropriate for those of us on your server to post here? (Hey guys, can we come up with a public forum of our own (Bravenet is kinda clunky))
3. why you so crazy? Twice in one month, lol.
