Middle of a good game, then someone manages to get on the arterilly gun behind German spawn. For the next 3 minutes I die along with 5 other guys while we can't even move while "uncle" shoots us and his buddies plant our bases for the win. If no one wants to remove a gun that has no purpose being there except to kill the Germans own soldiers at spawn point, fine. But I for one will stick to Barbarbossa from now on then, unless Smoensk goes back to the other game type or this retarded gun is taken out. A good game is completely ruined for several players because one guy is able to rape you at the spawn with no skill and no worries that the players being raped can do anything to stop him. I'm not dealing with that frustration anymore. I hope others join me and move from Smolensk until this problem is either fixed, they change the game type, or no one plays until the server goes back to Barbarossa.
I do admit I'm angry now right after one guy got probably 50 kills in a row, but there is nothing the dying people can do to stop it. The map is fatally flawed. Once more people learn this trick, the stupid fucking map will be unplayable for Germans. So I'm expressing my frustration now so people might realize why Smolensk is destined to have fewer and fewer players is this bullcrap gun remains. MoD -------------------- ![]() |

I love CNQ. Ideally there would be a rotation between CNQ and BA, but I think this (that is, running CNQ only) is a more than acceptable solution until something can be worked out with that damn gun on BA.
Bob, do you know how to change the code for spawnpoints - or even add a second spawn location? I'd think that would be easier than actually removing/changing something physical in-game? -------------------- ![]() |

Good point. I think this was a solution for early Barb 1 map when rusky spawners were getting mauled by pak gun. Well last night only half a dozen souls were in CNQ when I was there at 9pm compared to all the other COD UO servers being full or more than half full. I'd like to suggest CTF mode.
