I would imagine that MOB has a script running to update the stats every day. I believe the script for the Stock BA weekly stats was written incorrectly to only update mon - fri. I've noticed the last couple of weeks that these particular stats aren't updated on Saturday and Sunday.

Also, Cross and I noticed an oddity in this week's stats. Take a look at the newly crowned "King" (the player who has scored the most points per round) {Dev} Uber Jaeger, his stats indicate that he has played only 2 rounds of Foy. Amazingly, he managed to score 156 in one of those rounds. Perhaps someone can point out to us how this was possible. He killed only 38, died twice , planted and destroyed one base and defended a plant on another base. And that was in TWO rounds.

So, where do the extra points come from? He is listed as having attached 33 bases. How on earth does one find 33 bases in two rounds?? It looks to us as if someone has figured out a way to hack the stats!

Well, everyone on the team gets 4 points for every base cracked. Plus, whoever has the last shot that opens the base gets an additional 4 points. Here's a small bit of the scoring from the bas.gsc file.

Every time you hit a base with a shell, the "base attacked" event occurs in the logfile. Which is why that stat is so high in the log files. There's no in-game points associated with it (other then what might be on the stats page).

The defense score (extra point for killing the attacker) happens if:

// 1. we were planting a bomb so give out defense points
// 2. if they attacked a base recently (10 seconds)
// 3. if they are close to the base give them points (within 1000u)

Whoever plants the bomb gets an additional 5 points if the bomb explodes (in addition to the 5 given to the team and the 2 points for planting in the first place).
